PAST EUROPEAN CYCLING TRIPS
"This is the best trip I have ever been on. The trip had pretty much everything I was looking for; great routes, awesome scenery, personal challenges, friends, friendly competition, good food and wine, comfortable casual accommodations, relaxed Italian culture, great support and well planned … everything in the right amount" - Chris Raiskums, Italy 2015
Wineries, lakes, mountains, the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy has it all! Quiet twisty roads, spectacular vistas, flat, rolling and mountainous routes, this region of Italy is a cyclist's dream.
Surrounded by one of the largest protected areas in Italy, nature is displayed on a pedestal, creating an outdoor playground with breathtaking views. All of our rides will depart from the door of our hotel, leading us on some of the most beautiful climbs in Europe. Gavia, Stelvio, Mortirolo ... just saying their names brings pure joy.
This trip is in one of the most sought after destinations for cyclists, and with every route surrounded by the unique rock faces of the Dolomites it's no wonder that the soul feels quenched and the mind freed.
"It is official, I have severely pulled my smile muscle! Legs are recovering but it will take months for me to stop smiling every time I think about the trip. Every few hours the boys and I text a picture from the trip and have a chuckle. You and your team are simply amazing!" - Stephen Baird, France 2018
Annecy, the "Venice of the Alps" is a cyclist's dream. Prepare to be romanced as we journey around the bright turquoise lake, in to the epic Alps, and along the valley walls. We'll be spoiled in the luxurious hotel with views of Lac d'Annecy, the surrounding mountains, and meals that will tickle our senses in presentation and flavour. Routes are suitable for riders of all abilities, whether it's a first bike trip or an epic adventure.
Venturing off the beaten path, this trip will explore the northern coast of this historical and diverse country. The first part of our stay will be in one of the most historic towns, Santillana del Mar, a medieval village with fortified palaces, stone walls, and cobbled streets that today offer a romantic and inviting glimpse into life hundreds of years past. The second part of our journey will take us in to the rural mountains of Picos de Europa with stunning landscapes and blue skies so vibrant that at times you'll question whether you are looking out a window or at a spectacular painting.
