OUTDOOR TRAINING - 2020
Riding at the same speed on all rides will result in riders getting very good at riding within those parameters. If you want to improve, then you need a plan and a place to work harder, learn tips for increased efficiency, and a fun group that encourages and motivates. These training sessions cater to your personal goals, strengths, and weaknesses. Also check out our bike skills page, Tour du Compétence, which you can use as a report card to test your know how on a bike and our upcoming Adventure Rides!
SMALL GROUP TRAINING PROGRAM
We have had great success in helping riders improve by seeing them ride in person and offering feedback out on the road. These sessions will be a 3-5 km segment of road between Oakville and Milton that will be repeated for an hour; allowing for max distance between riders, coaching assessments, and comments on technique.
Riders will be provided with a warm-up to do on their own prior to the start of the session, as well as information regarding the meeting location and workout details so our hour of power will be focused for maximum benefit.

These rides focus on social time with new friends and have a stop enroute for something scrumptious to eat. All speeds are welcome and the goal is to explore a route that is less travelled and introduce riders to new bakeries, cafes, and coffee stops.
We split in to smaller groups and re-group at the lunch stop. Expect to be self-sufficient as there is no support van and you will be responsible for navigating; though cue-sheets and GPS routes will be forwarded to registrants.
