TRIP CANCELLATION POLICIES
The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs incurred by Petrina Productions Inc. and PT Cycling Centre (the "Cycling Centre") for the trip to run. Trip price is defined as everything purchased from the Cycling Centre as part of your tour, including upgrades and single supplement (should they have been chosen); and excluding flights, personal travel insurance, and other costs associated with a provider other than the Cycling Centre.
- $1,000 deposit is non-refundable
- Cancellation 30-60 days before departure: 50% of payment is retained (includes $1,000 deposit)
- Cancellation 1-29 days before departure: 100% of payment is retained (includes $1,000 deposit)
CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS
Request to change tour or date of an existing reservation will be accommodated based on availability. The guest is responsible for any additional fees, including cancellation fees, incurred from hotels, etc.
ITINERARY CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
The Cycling Centre reserves the right to make date, route, activity, and hotel modifications to any tour. This includes the details of itineraries as they appear on cyclingcentre.ca. Every effort is made to keep changes to a minimum; however, weather, construction and other worldly events may result in changes needing to be made.
The Cycling Centre reserves the right to cancel, modify, or delay any tour at any time for any reason. If a tour is cancelled, travellers will receive a travel credit for all monies paid.
The Cycling Centre is not responsible for any personal expenses incurred due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations, such as prepaid hotel accommodations or airline tickets. We strongly recommend confirming your trip with the Cycling Centre before making any additional travel arrangements.

TRAVEL PROTECTION
Travel Protection Plans safeguard your travel investment, your belongings, and most importantly, you. Travellers need to forward their insurance plans to the Tour Director prior to trip departure.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Each guest must travel on a current passport. Some countries require visas and for the expiration date of the passport to be within a certain time frame.
If a guest is unable to obtain travel documents or is prohibited from entering the destination country, our standard cancellation policy will apply.

TRAVELER EXPECTATIONS
We aim to create a safe, fun, and enjoyable experience for everyone. Guests play a big part in contributing to the joy of their trip and the joy of their group. As such, there are certain expectations from guests:
If you do not consent to these regulations, you risk dismissal from the tour and returning home at your own expense with no refund for the missed tour portion. The Cycling Centre reserves the right to decline or cancel a reservation should the guest's health or behaviour impede their welfare or enjoyment and/or that of their fellow guests.
- Read the Tech Guide (sent to travellers 1 month prior to trip start date) which contains pertinent information about the schedule, clothing, and other important information.
- Be aware of culture specific etiquette and respect the laws of countries visited.
- Respect and follow the local traffic rules and ride in a safe and predictable manner. This includes signalling intentions to drivers and cyclists, staying to the right of the road, being well out of the way of traffic when stopped, etc.
- Ensure that your bike is in excellent working condition prior to trip departure. This includes tires and brakes in like new condition, gears that are working smoothly, etc.
- Communicate special requests at least 30 days prior to travel. This includes dietary restrictions, medical requirements, and room preference. We will make every effort to accommodate special requests, but cannot guarantee they will be met.
- Respect the rights and privacy of fellow guests.
- Understand that group travel invariably involves compromise to accommodate diverse desires, travel goals, personalities, and physical abilities of all group members. The itinerary and logistics may be required to change with little notice. Our team will use good faith and discretion to deal with the groups needs. These decisions may not always please each individual, but are intended to satisfy the larger desires of the group with safety at the forefront of all decisions.
- The Cycling Centre reserves the right to refuse service during a tour or program to anyone whose health or behaviour could impeded the welfare or enjoyment of fellow guests or the individual themselves. A guest may be asked to leave a trip if the leader determines that the guest's continuing participation may prove detrimental to themselves or the group.
- Weather conditions are out of our control.
- Always wear a helmet when riding.
- Do not use headphones while riding.
- Consume alcohol responsibly.
- Do not use cell phones while moving on a bike.
- Be responsible for all and any damages made to hotel rooms.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY
PT Cycling Centre is not liable for bodily injury or property damage as a result of (but not limited to): physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared; forces of nature; collisions with bicycles, pedestrians, or automobiles; road conditions including but not limited to lack of shoulder and roadway surfaces affected by weather conditions; travel by plane, train, auto, boat, or other conveyance, or by bicycle, foot, or other form of active or adventure travel; consumption of alcoholic beverages; civil unrest; terrorism; breakdown of equipment; high altitude; lack of or limited access to medical attention in remote locations or adequacy of medical attention once provided.
Guests who fail to provide a signed Release of Liability and their travel insurance details prior to departure will not be permitted to join the trip and standard cancellation policy as listed above will apply.

LOST BELONGINGS
The Cycling Centre is not responsible for loss of passports, tickets, or other documents; loss of or damage to luggage, personal property, or other passenger belongings. Consider leaving valuables at home.
